Plaid+Tulle Holiday Look
Ever since I saw Amanda of the Junebugs & Georgia Peaches blog pair a plaid top with a tulle skirt, I knew I had to try the look for myself! (I've also seen Joanna Gaines of HGTV's Fixer Upper wear a similar look.) I love my black tulle skirt from Rue 21 that I got back in Gresham, Oregon, and I don't really need an excuse to dress like a ballerina princess in my everyday life (I think I own about three tulle skirts now, but who's counting???). Here's a very wearable and updated way for you to rock this classic look and make it your own. I paired the skirt with a petticoat from Amazon (only 19.99 for two! What a steal!) that I let peak out of the bottom for a layered look. This is a cute and casual style you can rock for the holidays and beyond!
Also, it was definitely a #NoMakeupMonday, I spent most of the day in curlers and a sweatshirt while I sent emails for my wellness business to start scheduling some yoga events for 2017, but I definitely still felt glam and gorgeous wearing my Tarte Cosmetics Creamy Matte Lip Paint in bae, one of my all-time favorite reds that works for pretty much any skin tone. For my hair I went with another no-heat poodle updo using foam rollers to complete the vintage-inspired look. As usual, I used a combo of my fave products from Needful Things Natural Home & Body Care, Jane Carter Solution and Suavecita Pomade.
Are you twirling around the city in a cute ballerina skirt a la Carrie Bradshaw & Audrey Hepburn this holiday season? Tag me in your pics on Insta (@cazoshay_marie) and hashtag them with #DIDwithCazoshay, I'd love to see and repost them! And don't forget to check out the Junebugs & Georgia Peaches blog and give Amanda (@modernjunecleaver) and Katie @ameliajetson) a follow as well!
UPDATE: I've had a lot of comments on my shoes (which are some of my new, classic faves). They're from Amazon, you can purchase them here.
