DIY Vitamin C Scrub

Why spend tons of money on expensive beauty products when you can easily make your own? I'm not knocking high end products, I sell them myself here on my site. But my passion is empowering others to take their wellness into their own hands in easy, sustainable ways.

Vitamin C is excellent for brightening the skin and encouraging a youthful glow. It has antioxidant properties, fights free radicals and can help prevent and treat damage from UV rays. It boosts collagen production and aids in cell regeneration, thereby addressing scarring as well. There's also some info on the benefits of Geranium and Carrot Seed essential oil below the instructions.

Try this simple DIY Vitamin C Scrub and get your glow on.

  • 1 teaspoon vitamin C powder (you can also crush up vitamin C pills into powder)

  • 1 teaspoon hot water

  • 2 teaspoons jojoba oil, almond oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil or vegetable glicerin

  • 3 drops geranium essential oil

  • 1 drops carrot seed essential oil

  1. Combine hot water and vitamin C powder, mix well until the powder is completely dissolved

  2. Add vegetable glycerine and essential oils

  3. Store in a dark glass bottle

  • Geranium-controls sebum production in skin, , antiseptic, astringent, anti-inflammatory, stimulates the lymphatic system to help eliminate toxins, helps fade scars

  • Carrot Seed-antiseptic, disinfectant, detoxifying, antioxidant, helps get rid of scars and improves elasticity and skin tone, great for psoriasis and eczema


Increase the efficiency and absorption of your facial products with a luxurious jade roller.

*Make sure to perform a patch test by putting some of the scrub on the inside of your elbow and waiting a few hours to see if you have a reaction.
