Watermelon Hibiscus Chia Fruit Leather
Summah, summah summah-time, time to sit back and unwind...with delicious all-natural fruit leather!
If you didn't have watermelon, did you even summer? This kid-friendly fruit leather has just a few delicious ingredients with a big flavor payoff.
They're so good they usually disappear the same day I make them! Check out the easy recipe below.
5 cups watermelon puree
1 Tablespoon raw sugar, agave or maple syrup
6 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 teaspoon hibiscus flower powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender
Let sit for about 10 minutes to let the chia seeds start to firm up the mixture
Slowly pour on to a dehydrator tray with a piece of parchment paper on top of it
Dehydrate on 110 degrees until dried
Cut apart into strips with kitchen shears
Store in an airtight container
